Field Service Technician – Permian Basin


The Field Service Technician will be primarily responsible for the installation, service and repair of chemical injection pumps and equipment in the Permian Basin area.

Job Type: Full-time


  • Provide service and customer support during field visits
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and testing of chemical injection pumps and automation systems
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner
  • Follow all company’s documented operation, safety and environmental procedures and protocols
  • Consult technical team and share information across the organization
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Build positive relationships with customers


  • Ability to perform the essential mechanical functions of the job
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clear MVR
  • English literacy
  • Ability to learn, understand engineering terminology in regard to technical topics
  • Minimum 1 years field technician experience- preferable focus on chemical injection pumps
  • General desktop computing skills including typing, data entry
  • Microsoft skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Willingness to adjust, manage frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel overnight on occasion
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to customer requests after hours
  • Must be familiar with oil and gas industry equipment
  • Technical degree or certification is a plus
